New season new team! PSBD has always been proud to sponsor girls football at a grassroots level.
This season we are sponsoring Julians FC a dedicated girls’ football club based in South London
We believe in the benefits that participating in team sports brings, especially for girls and women. State school sports have so little investment we consider it vital that these local sports clubs get support. Team sports teach teamwork, resilience, strategy and a strong work ethic. These skills will support these girls as they go into their working lives. The teams we support also bring together a mix of state and independently educated girls and break down social barriers and promote understanding and empathy.
For the last three years we sponsored Balham Ballers. But their girls teams disbanded so we have found a new team to support.
